Workshops at my Home Studio
in Charing, Kent

Although my workshop subjects can be run successfully as a single day, most are best suited to two days and may even be extended to cover a weekend or longer (up to five days). Day courses are usually 10am to 4pm, but can be tailored to suit.

Students (maximum of two) learn how to construct books from scratch using very basic materials. They produce decorative, unique covers and pages with stitched embellishment. Various binding and fastening methods are covered along with guidelines for filling books.

Students generally bring items they would like to put in their books or to use as inspiration. These may include: photographs, dried flowers, leaves, tickets, postcards or any other printed memorabilia.

Accommodation can be found locally.

FEES FOR WORKSHOPS AT MY STUDIO

My charges for 2010 are:

ONE DAY

£80 one person (£140 for two people).

TWO DAYS

£140 one person (£280 for two people).

THREE DAYS

£180 one person (£360 for two people).

Prices include tuition and materials.
